“Lately, my region has been facing extreme weather.
The 2022 summer’s drought and floods in 2023 caused damage to the country, destroying many homes, infrastructure, had an impact on agriculture and changed the landscape. With complementary contrasts, and cold-warm gradients this work expresses my concern about the future, landscape transformations, and life circumstances in Europe and across the planet due to extreme weather events, rising temperatures, as consequences of climate change.
The work, as well, is questioning the natural process of the changing landscape, its surface and substance. This work speaks about my concerns about the future of Europe.”
